In the Mid-90's I restarted my photography career, but was interrupted by a severe genetic heart disease leading to a heart transplant in 2001. With a new gift of life and an appreciation of the beauty of nature I switched to digital photography and resumed my pursuit of unique images to illustrate the gift of nature's beauty.

The purpose of this web site is to display my photo trips with commentary, show galleries of my favorite images, and to illustrate the gift of life that we all have received. I have had photos in juried shows in Palm Springs, Ca., Museum of Natural History in San Diego, Ca., Buttonwood Art Gallery in Kansan City, Mo., and at the Tri-Lakes Center for the Arts in Palmer Lake, Colorado.

I dedicate this site to the donor of my new heart. He was a young man of 17 who loved the outdoors. Unfortunately he died while on an Outward Bound expedition in the mountains of Southwestern Colorado. He and his family's willingness to give the gift of life has given me a new and rich life.

If you are not an organ donor please consider it. If you are a donor then tell your family so they know what to do. It saves lives!!!!!
